Wintry days....

11/30/2011

Outside the wind is howling today...a cold front blowing through. Rain is pelting the windows, and making a soothing sound on the sunroom roof. Inside..a fire is going, I am making a pot of my FAVORITE soup..baked fresh cookies..working on a little quilt..and listening to Lady Antebellum on Pandora. Really..the very BEST kind of day..

That's beautiful fabric that you're using in the embroidery hoop. And the cookies look delicious. I'm feeling lame that I haven't done anything holiday like...You've inspired me! I need to get on the ball!

Its a little quilt Tam:) Recognize the fabric scraps for Zach's banner..Its a little log cabin type pattern that I made up..I LOVE to sew little scraps like that together...One little strip at a time:)
