Happy Independence Day!

Celebrating the day at the beach....again!! lol! We have been enjoying the nicest weather this summer..Makes me feel a bit guilty when so much of the country is suffering from oppressive heat! We have been staying in the mid 80's...Perfect beach weather!
Zach on his rock:) Every year the rock gets smaller!! lol!!! He is growing so quickly now..must be all the fresh air and sunshine!!!! Compare this to just last year!!! 018 At least he fits into the same suit! lol!!!

There was sand castle building...and a long walk to collect treasure to decorate the castle:) The water which is usually crystal clear in the lack was quite stagnant, and full of seaweed (lake weed!)..So we spent more time on the beach than in the water! Back home we were in the pool until 8 pm..the pool temp is 88! I did find a great recipe for a quick and easy summer dinner...perfect for these hot summer evenings....

I love the pictures of Zach. That would be great if you could take a picture every year of him on the same rock. Watching him grow.

Glad you guys had a good day! Sound like lots of fun. We went to the pool today, but we're in one of those "oppressive heat" zones you were talking about. The water was so warm it barely helped. I think it hit about 104 degrees at one point today (the weather, not the water) We still had a fun day though. But Jace hated the fireworks, so I had to take him away. haha.

I hope it cools down for you Tam!!! That is awful! I know Lindsey has been in the 100's too! North Country is in the 80's..drops into the upper 50's at night..Perfect sleeping weather! Headed to Old Forge today..Adirondacks are forecasted for sunny and 78..I will bottle up some mountain air and mail it to you:)Give Jace hugs and kisses from us:)
