Outside....Crunchy leaves...misty icy fog...temps barely reaching into the 20's....
Inside we are all staying warm and cozy...Jack staying busy with FOOTBALL, enjoying this year that Zach is old enough to understand the game and watch with him...Zach and I are also busy crafting...this week we dipped leaves in melted beeswax and felted acorns to make a beautiful mobile..the leaves look SO pretty with the sunshine pouring in the windows...and, of course, I am knitting..I. Can't. Stop. :) It is VERY fun!!! Hope you all have a sunny start to your day:)
LOVE that mobile and the little felted acorns!! I miss fall!! I want to know exactly how to do that to the acorns, they must look so pretty in a bowl. VERY nice projects this week. Good job!

The acorns are super easy..You dont even have to use a felting needle if you wet felt them...Just roll wool roving into a ball and with hot, soapy water, keep rolling it in your palms until the fibers in the wool begin to stick together..shape it into a tight little ball..and let them dry. Then, just hot glue acorn caps:) Some day you can do this with Jace:)

I love the mobile and the acorns! It is starting to look cold in your photos.
